Kakuri

Kakuri was founded in 1946 in Niigata, Japan, in an area famous for hand tool production. They specialize in blades: planes, chisels, saws and knives, and their philosophy is that tools are the foundation of manufacturing, and that through manufacturing we can enrich everyone's lives. With this philosophy, they strive to create high-quality, durable and affordable tools to make the manufacturing process better and easier for everyone.

Kakuri strives to maintain traditional methods and knowledge, while adapting to changing technology in the modern world. Many of their tools are hand-chiseled, and their blades hand-sharpened. They live up to their motto: "A master touch in every tool".
