Anex was founded in Niigata in 1954, in the famous tool production city of Sanjo. They focused early on producing screwdrivers and other hand tools, but have since shifted their focus toward power tool attachments, such as drill bits and screwdriver bits.
To emphasize their focus on bits, while maintaining their roots in screwdrivers, they developed a range of magnetic screwdriver handles that can be used with any of their drill bits or screwdriver bits, saving money and space in the toolbox.
