Keiba was founded in 1924 by a young man in Niigata, Japan. At only 23 years old, the founder began making clamps for local carpenters. In the following decades, Keiba expanded into producing spring hammers, pliers and nippers and was one of the first Japanese tool manufacturers to utilize new mechanization technologies.
Because of their high-quality materials and durable designs, combined with the fact that they could increase their production capacity early, Keiba quickly became one of the most sought-after and trusted plier brands worldwide. Today, Keiba pliers and nippers are considered among the best in the world.
