Chikamasa was founded in Sakai, Japan in 1910 as a manufacturer of flower arrangement scissors. Sakai is one of Japan's three main blade-producing areas, famous for their sharpness and durability.
Since then, they've expanded dramatically to produce over 100 types of scissors for gardening, flower arranging, craft and more. Their gardening shears, in particular, are world-renowned.
They're serious about their promise of "Made in Japan" and ensure that over 90% of their processes are completed in-house.
