Kanenori Nata Carbon Steel Bamboo Splitter Japanese Axe 165mm C-12

This is a compact Japanese nata axe from cutting tool specialist Kanenori. The C-12 model nata was designed specifically for splitting and shaving bamboo for firewood and bamboo crafts. It's also useful for clearing undergrowth, and chopping down smaller trees to clear land and collect wood.

This is a double-bevel Japanese nata hatchet, made from stainless clad carbon steel to make it especially sharp, yet also durable and long-lasting. The back of the blade is able to be struck with a wooden mallet so that you can split tough pieces of bamboo with ease.

It comes with a sheath so that you can easily hang it from your belt when not in use.
