Shimano Twin Power Spinning Reel 20 C3000

Shimano's durable Twin Power series of spinning reel has been produced for 30 years, and their newest models, Twin Power 20, are the gold standard of fishing reels.

The Twin Power C3000 model is the 2500 sized reel from the range, and while it shares many qualities with the smaller 1000 sized models, one key point is very different: the rotor is aluminum, rather than magnesium. Aluminum rotors are slightly heavier than magnesium rotors, but they're harder, more durable, and less prone to corrosion. 

All reels in the Twin Power 20 series feature HAGANE bodies, which are fantastically rigid and durable, while remaining lightweight. They can withstand torsion from big game, and the impact of sudden drops.

Twin Power 20 reels also feature HAGANE Micro Module II gear systems. HAGANE gearing is a new creation by Shimano, and it means these reels are very smooth. The evolved tooth shape of the Micro Module II greatly reduces noise when winding, giving a more peaceful fishing experience. The longer stroke spools on these reels improve casting performance when compare to most other reels on the market.
