I originally purchased these Japanese pruners from Lee Valley Tools many years ago and I use them all the time. They stay razor sharp. At one point I thought I had lost them, and was frantic. I contacted Lee Valley only to find that they no longer carried them. You can imagine my delight when I learned that Daitool did. I bought a pair for a dear friend of mine for Christmas this year - she has over 500 roses and she loved them. These are not for heavy-duty pruning - best use your Felco’s for that, but they are ideal for pruning roses, dead-heading, and other light garden chores. These are in my back pocket all summer long when I’m in the garden - I wouldn’t be without them!
