This live cable cutter from MCC has been carefully insulated to cut through live cables.

It has been tested up to 20,000V, and can withstand up to 7,000V. The body is mostly covered with high-quality rubber for insulation, and the handle is made of lightweight and durable fiberglass.

Use it to cut various types of cabling in general electrical work, power line work, substation work and communications. Ideal for cutting copper and aluminum stranded wires, not suitable for cutting wires with iron cores.
