Nata hatchets are unique to Japan. They're a cross between traditional hatchets and machetes.

The blade is made from the highest grade of Japanese yasugi steel (aogami). This high-carbon tempered steel is very durable, rust-resistant and sharp - making it the steel-of-choice for chef knives and samurai swords.
