This is a weeding sickle from bladesmith Hounen Kihan. Specifically designed for cutting long, grassy weeds in and around rice fields, it can also be used for general gardening and grass-cutting.

It is made of a special composite steel that joins a base of ultra-soft steel with a high-grade cutlery steel.

The strong and sharp blade will make light work of most weeds and grass in your garden, and can even tackle some thicker vines. The curve of the blade has been inspired by Japanese daruma dolls.

    Cuts Excellently

    Really great for clearing weeds out from around the base of a shrub or tree. Is smnall so can get into really tight spaces. Cuts excellently and is nice and light so makes weeding easier on the wrists. Going forward will have to protect it from rust but I'm very happy so far.
